So it is safe to say Happy New Year. I hope 2019 is off to a great start with a list of primary goals you wish to accomplish. If you are like me, you may have written your goals down or if you are a visual person, you may find it helpful to create a vision board as a start on the right track. If you just go with the flow and are not into either, that is alright too. Just do what works best for you to demonstrate progress.
My point here is to make a note to yourself to start something, whatever it is that is on your mind and heart. No need to wait for tomorrow, START NOW. To even make it more real, solicit a partner to hold you accountable. I have learned that having an accountability partner encourages me to follow through with the goals I have set and achieve them.
I leave you with an excerpt from the movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” by F. Scott Fitzgerald:
– “For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”
